NOMO launches new vegan bar for nut allergy sufferers

A UK food brand has just launched a nut-free Hazelnot crunch chocolate aimed at nut allergy sufferers. It is free from dairy, gluten, eggs and nuts. The new Nut Free Hazelnot Crunch Choc Bar contains rice crispy pieces, cocoa nibs and natural nut free flavour blended in a creamy choc recipe.

Senior Innovation and Brand Manager of Kinnerton Confectionery Emma Perrett said in a statement “Ensuring that no one misses out is the cornerstone of our brand and one of the reasons we have gone to such extraordinary lengths to create a Nut Free Hazelnot choc bar. We know that some people can’t enjoy great tasting nut chocolate, and that all consumers should have a variety of choice and flavour at every occasion,”

“One of our aims at NOMO is to develop mainstream flavours that we know customers will love regardless of whether they are vegan or have a food allergy and so we are delighted to offer this new delicious nut flavoured, but completely nut free, chocolate to the market.”

NOMO has a range of delicious vegan chocolate bars following their launch in 2019. The new nut free flavour is available to purchase now from Asda and costs £2 per bar.
