Tarte sister brand to debut line of affordable vegan cosmetics

Coveted beauty company Tarte has announced the debut of Sugar Rush, a sister brand set to offer an entirely vegan line of comparatively budget-friendly cosmetics.

This will surely come as welcome news to those of you who spend entirely too much money on avocado toast, nutritional yeast, soy lattes and (perhaps the worst budget buster of all) kale chips to even consider purchasing a $40 bottle of foundation. We see you — and apparently Tarte does also.

According to Makeup.com, the new collection will include skin care products, fragrance and, of course, makeup and makeup brushes. The line includes only items priced under $25, and will be available for purchase online from February 24. You can also scoop up their products at Ulta stores, if you can be bothered to leave your house, or on the Ulta website.

For those unwilling to wait, or who’re looking for further options, this is not Tarte’s first foray into vegan beauty. The brand’s existing collection of high-end products includes a number of vegan options clearly marked on the company website.
