Footwear giant Call It Spring has begun a transition to becoming entirely vegan.

The chain, which is part of The Aldo Group, got the ball rolling with its Spring 2019 collection, which uses no animal-derived materials, and has announced that it will be fully vegan going forward. This includes not only shoes, but other items such as handbags and wallets, all of which are clearly marked as vegan on the company website.

Call It Spring offers a number of designs targeted towards both men and women, so you can get the shoes that say whatever you want. Whether that’s “I wouldn’t object to marrying Post Malone” or “I’d rather play it safe with Shawn Mendes”, this retailer has you covered.

According to the brand, the shift is a response to the “growing demand for vegan footwear”, and is aimed at making vegan accessories and footwear more easily available to the general public.

In-store signage explaining the change reads: “It’s not a phase, it’s a lifestyle…”. Couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Call It Spring, however, is by no means the only option for those seeking vegan footwear. You can find a number of other vegan shoe brands here, many of which are conscientious of employee welfare, and aim to use use eco-friendly materials.
