Vegan Brand No Evil Foods to move into 250 Whole Foods locations

Plant-based, meat-alternative brand No Evil Foods is poised to move into 250 Whole Foods locations, according to reports.

The line of products, some of which are already available at a number of Walmart locations, is made up of a variety of vegan meats, including substitutes for sausages, chicken, pulled pork and roast.

According to the brand’s founder, Sarah Schadel, the aim of No Evil Foods is to disrupt the “status quo”, and inject a more ethics-focused approach into an existing food system.

“I make products that are inherently low-impact, made from simple nutrient-dense ingredients, packaged in compostable materials, and bring families together at the table again without anyone feeling like they’re missing out,” she told Hatch.

Great, so now you’ve got something to bring to your next family barbecue — and when your uncle Frank says that plants have feelings, you can just make sure your mouth is full.
