Hudsonville Ice Cream debuts seven vegan flavors

Midwest dessert brand Hudsonville Ice Cream has launched seven new vegan flavors.

Yeah, seven — all at once, in a release that’s apparently been a while in the making.

“After more than two years of recipe development and tasting, we’re excited to reveal our new line of Dairy Free Frozen Desserts — seven non-dairy flavors that rival the creamy texture and delicious taste of the traditional Hudsonville Ice Cream flavors our fans have come to know and love,” reads a blog post from the brand.

Now, if only we could sort out how to get in on the tasting part of the process.

The new range includes Mint Fudge Cookie, Peanut Butter Truffle, Cherry Fudge, Chocolate, Birthday Cake, Caramel Cookie Dough, and S’mores flavors. That last one’s marshmallow, chocolate and graham crackers — for those of you who haven’t lived.

Those keen to grab a spoon can find the new range at 240 Meijer stores across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin. The Birthday Cake and Chocolate flavors will also appear in select scoop shops. You can find a locator here.
