Country Crock launches range of vegan butters
Famed margarine brand Country Crock has debuted a new range of fully vegan butters.
Called Plant Butter, the collection includes dairy-free butter alternatives, made using olive, almond and avocado oil, in both stick and tub form.
According to the company website, the new range “has a rich and creamy taste and is excellent for cooking, baking, and spreading” — or adding in excess to a freshly popped bowl of popcorn before your next Netflix binge. Whatever.
No matter what you plan to do with it, you’ll be happy to hear it was well reviewed online, even among non-vegans.
“My husband and I have recently been trying more plant based options in order to help environmentally and for health reasons,” wrote one commenter.
That’s pretty lit, and we’re here for it.
“So I was really excited to see this new Country Crock product with several different varieties to choose from. I am a big butter fan but the fact that this is so creamy and spreadable while also being dairy-free, gluten-free, and certified plant-based is a game changer for me and has helped broaden my horizons when it comes to vegan alternatives.”
You won’t catch us complaining about that, either.
